Finnaly, i've got a pod CD :D So....

Normal mode:

Cool, great, difficult some time (i'm used with well known hard portions, but not used to arrive on them from an other way as usual)

Reverse mode:

Have i already run on theses tracks? I know the texture and so the track, but where am i :?: :?: :?: next turn..left or right :?: :?: :?:

On parts specially for reverse (skyrace), when you go back (yes, this is not normal to make a 180° and run in the wrong way, but it's reverse, not normal ;) , you made visibility list only for the good way...
So much polygons put as road, or they should be wall, and you have sometime some bugs with this (on skyrace, again, i will try to make a screenshot)
Lake part, nice to have add the CP to have to jump on the other side, but i had found a new shortcut, that would be fun to try, but not possible by the CP: If you take the jump, and that you go on the 45° 'wall' (defined as road), you have the possibility to take the shortcut used usually in normal mode...
Accelerator, if you try it in the 'wrong way', it goes really bad. I Have also had some bugs in the elevator, in the normal way: stopped in the middle of the accelerator, and ejected...

Great Track Leadbest !

Just gave it a shot right now with Shark and Keyboard...

It seems really funny to drive ! I had already think about such a type of track...and you made it ! :D

Nice idea and realisation really ! I will ghost this one for sure...
I guess this will be the occasion to ghost Natura and Everest lol...

Strangely...none of the track portion I would have put in my version of the track is in yours lol...
Tastes and colors...

But this is great anyway !! Good job ! I'll enjoy :rob: again :D

I agree with Rob.. The portions you took are not the most difficult (for me).

A nightmare track for me should be:
- Galleria, Bull shortcut
- Babelweb, the part slalowing between 'silver' blocks
- Azthec, part before the broken bridge where you can fall of the road
- Coccon, several possible parts
- Enneade, or another track, but putting a CP where you should normally not run ;)
- Hellway, the shortcut through the dead head
- Loon, the tunels you never use and the loop
- Mine, the way between the two galleries, with the 'trains'
- Pipeline, the shortcut through the red block, in the ceiling
- Plant21, th shortcut to the finish line
- Road70, labyrinth
- Test, nothing ;)
- Zed, the pits

P.S.2: With a track like this, i will never finish the first lap...

Ok, ok maybe I was being a bit misleading when I said "nightmare". hehe.

But I bet its a long time before anyone makes 3 laps in a row they like. :)

I made the visibility for Reverse Sky section that way because normally you would never be going backwards, LOL. You would only need to go a very short way to get the distance needed for ghost speed.

Also, by not rendering everything behind you, you stand a better chance of controlling the Shark going in 0 gear. :)

The Magnetic lift was causing me a lot of trouble going in reverse and I could not figure it out. Everytime the car would get stuck going down.
This is why I added the second railgun, and the 0 gear Skyrace section going in reverse. It turned out better that way. Word of advice, dont go in reverse.
The only really bad thing about this is you cant turn around for the first lap going forward, such is life. LOL

Going forward I had the same problem once. But I seem to remember the original Magnetic did the same thing to me a lot, usually on the 3rd lap of a good ghost. :) This seems to be a problem of the car hitting the edge between 2 polygons while rubbing the wall in the accelerator while going a million KPH. I dont think I can stop this from happening. I tried many combination of smoothing groups on this thing, and setting them all to 9 was the only way it worked.

The track parts I chose because they didnt need a lot of editing to make them fit. If you look close, there are only 2 places where the elevation changes from original. Everywhere else its the same. Because of this, I was able to finish this in a few days. I only had to draw maybe 30 polygons myself, heh.

Dont think I forgot all those other parts, LOL. Theres more to come. Funny you guys never mentioned Parking, ;)

What are you talking about, Galleria Bull shortcut?

I would also like to see the problems you saw in Reverse Sky. I couldnt find any problems there.

All of this can be fixed if you insist, hehe.

Bulldozer? Is-it the same in english? Before the shortcut (hidden in the oem version), i know that rob go straight between the bulldozer and the 'bunker', but i've never made it correctly, so this is a nightmare for me.

For Skyrace, in the reverse mode (but normal way on the real skyrace), you have 'open' the way that stay horizontal (the little way over the part you run in 7e). Normally, in Skyrace, you only use it in reverse, because in normal way, there is a little wall on you right and at the end of the way.

Here, the wall is defined as road, and when 2 road polygons have a 90° between them, if you hit them, the car it not push back by the wall, but the car snooze go down, between the 2 polygons.

I don't know if this is clear enough in my bad english ;)

Ohhh I see what your saying.

Im not sure it matters though? Is anyone going to use that path?

I can fix it, but then have to upload it again. Is it bad enough to fix?

I remember the day I discovered the Bull shortcut. Yes, that was cool. I posted a ghost on the Ubisoft gallery and within 3 days Bart, Groove, Spartacus, and Blackwolf all posted faster ones, hehe. This is kind of a big wide section of track, and it just didnt fit so I didnt use it. However it will fit into a Parking nightmare, LOL.

Hey this is all good feedback. Maybe I should sent it to you first? Hehe.
I always miss something because I try to drive the line I designed, not trying other paths.

Ok I took your advice Skubi and I fixed the surface properties and visibility for the Skyrace section.

If anybody is downloading for the first time, you will get the fixed version.

If you like your current version, dont bother downloading again unless you want to. There is nothing changed to make you any faster. :)

Super LB, your track is perfect.
Yesterday i want try before i go sleep, but i play 2 hours ;)

The revers mode is crazy.

I forget a lot of scut, but my finger not :)

After West ramp i bind left ;) not right. i miss the factory scut 2 time, but now is ok.

The problem is i don't like the Lake bridge.

- For the scut of skyrace, the shark haven't the same reactions with the wall than with the real skyrace. I can't take the scut correctly (and I always know to do it on the real track)
- I haven't the skin just before the elevator of magnetic.

I haven't yet tested the reverse.

Skubidou, have you got the Skyrace track exported with all the correct surface properties? All the tracks I got from you dont have the surface properties set, so I had to guess. :)

Im not sure how to set them to fix Algors problem. Maybe you can find these properties for me?
