New Track: Everest

Here's my second cd-patchable track. A lot speedier and better than Natura. Enjoy our little BigFoot-Track, hehe. Oh, and check out the Readme if you like.

To download the track and sources, just hop over to:

Dev@Vortex

Readme File (Please read)

NOTE: If you plan on downloading the sources, beware the filesize. The RAR file is only 9 MB, but the extracted data is more like 45 MB.

Enjoy - Vortex

2 new tracks

PS : use a translator to read my text :)

Winrar 3 use new algorythms that are not understand by Winzip, XP, and even sometime Total Commander (new name for Windows Commander). But it compress really beter (1206Kb with Total Comander Zip and 968Kb with Winrar).

For people having problems with rar:

http://skubidou.free.fr/Tracks/Natura.zip

Vortex, in the same time, to follow the same rules as for other tracks, try to put your tracks directory into a 'Circuits' directory...

it is very facile to speak frangliche .... but the prononciation must go with it to be funny. If you prononce like a bon paysan , it could sound like ca : o crévindieu aille laillque to spique in angliche !

Hmm I had similar problems with crashes when I made Escape. It always happened at the ends of sectors, where sectors meet. I was never able to find out what exactly happened, but I believe it was drastic changes in visibility settings that triggered the crashes.

Yeah, I also figured that it must have something to do with the vis-settings. Actually the funny thing is. After exporting a track from Max, I was never able to drive the track on the first try - meaning: Each time after exporting, the first try would crash at that sport. Afterwards it would never crash again --- until I exported a new version ;-)

I test booth track

Message par LPH »

Nice to test new track.

But i have some 'problem' with natura :
First : This track lack very much, and i can't reduce the three texture with CTRL+D or ALT+D.
I think this three are not decor but wall.

Second : I can't ghost to long time because the graphic is too same :road and rand.

Everest is funny but there it is very hard to realise a good ghost.

LB, to be sure to speak about the same thing, when you speak about SECTOR, you speak about the 5, 6, 180 sectors dividing the track in objects in Max? Not the 4 sectors made by the CP?

Do you remembered where escape crash?
