But u should try the last demo. U tried the (very) old one...
Look for the "Power Up Demo" and you'll see that analog support for wheels, pedals, gamepads, joystick and lawn mower...

I am downloading it and will give it a try again. It reminds me alot of a game I still have called Whiplash 3d (called something else in europe). It was a dos game that came with my Diamond Monster 3D way back in '97. Was a ton of fun to play.

Not much difference. The brakes still only map to a button and not an axis. I don't understand why they would do this since it is common for racing games to be able to map acceleration and brakes to an axis. They usually share the same axis but work on opposite ends. I am guessing the reason is so you can use accel and brakes at the same time, though it always worked for me on other racing games.

The line "acceleration (analog)" is what you're looking for.
You'll be able to accelerate and brake (and u can do both at the same time) if you set this line correctly...
Huh keep in mind that Trackmania don't support "true" analog acc-braking...
It's like in Pod, numeric mode...ON-OFF u know...
