K let me confess. My game is a downloaded version because I still havent seen the game here where I live. Ive played Trackmania for 3 hours now, and have gotten to C6 with gold medals. I just now tried the bumpercam using the rallycar... Holy shit...I love this... I remember I played POD 8 hours a day for 2 years, so there is no comparison. Trackmania doesnt quite "suck you in" the way POD did...

Thats a good idea. You can make the tree itself solid, but make the branches non-solid.

I should have done that to Newsance, LOL.

I should mention, the best trees for POD would be only 4 triangles (2 quads) total.

Looked at from above, they look like this + , one quad intersecting the other. Texture each quad the same.

Make all 2 sided. As you drive by, it looks like a tree unless you stop and REALLY look.

I think you dont read enough of the tutorial. Assign your trees smooth group 12, this makes the POLYGONS visible from both sides. Assign your trees smooth group 13, and this makes the black part of the texture invisible. This changes only the texture visibility. If you want to drive through the tree...

Well first of all, all images in POD are .tga format, and all of these are available at witnessteams website.

Second, If he wont play with Bl4 hes missing out.

Third, why the hell do you keep coming back here with a different name each week? Do you think your going to get a different answer?

Hi belt.

The animated sky is not done with the bl4exporter. Siklist sent me a small program to set the animated sky after I sent him my first track.

Ok, thanks for the replies. I dont think its worth it anyway, it all gets really ugly when you go too far.

Im going to delete the reduced version from the site, and go no further with the project.

Freddy and any other 3DFX users, I have a image reduced version up on the website you guys can try.

If it solves your texture problems, I will work harder on it to make it look better. So consider this a beta.

Nothing is changed, except the textures on the Cocoon section and a tad in Parking.
