if you still have the old pc, use that... i've got an old pc that runs the d3d 5 version fine, you just need a graphics card with around 8mb mem for d3d 5

i got same problem but slightly different- get black screen with occasional flashes- i think textures are missing.

Pc is under windows 98, 3d prophet 4500 with 24mb video memory

that's a known problem under d3d, but since you're using dgVoodoo, i'm not sure... try changing some settings and see what works

well... that other pc screwed up last night... i get a really weird screen with horizontal and vertical lines everywhere- i think its the anti-alaising byt can't find any way to fix it. (Hercules 3d prophet 4500 with powervr kyro processor+ 24mb memory, Windows 98)

there's a copy of pod original on ebay for anyone who needs it

i also have pod gold cd copies... but that's illegal anyway

too bad it was only released on dreamcast... i don't have one. Seems a bit more 'complicated' than original pod though... pod original's easier for straight flat out racing!

months after i last posted in this thread (or is it less??), I've finally got the testengine working.. the cars do seem very overresponsive... should be some 'perfect' settings somewhere..

looks like i have given up trying to get it running... i wont be able to play online but i do have another pc that has a powervr card that im using for pod and it works great

i used the forcefeedback patch on both installs but no sucess and my pc is running windows xp thats the problem i think actually i do have a win 98 pc but its not the main pc for connecting to the internet and i cant change that so...
