Hmm... I think that that cpuid patch works, actually. I tried it and then the p4 patch on that 3Dfx version I have installed and both correctly fixed the game. However, neitherone works with any of the other versions -- a few will patch (not 1.0 with either patch, however; I'm not sure if the cpuid...

i'm using podd3dx.exe and the P4 patcher works on it.
